Since its establishment, our company has developed more than 100 stores and 10 store categories, centering on our main business category, “Uogashi Nihon Ichi.” Prior to fiscal 2020, we set a goal of opening 4 new stores per year and have expanded to the Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka and Chiba areas. In terms of overseas expansion, our company embarked on global business in 2009 with the opening of the “Uogashi Nihonichi New World SC Store” in Busan, South Korea. In 2017, we opened our 4th restaurant in South Korea, the “Uogashi Nihonichi Noryangjin Fish Market,” and in 2019, we opened 2 sushi and Japanese restaurants simultaneously in Shenzhen, China, and are steadily expanding overseas with a view to Hong Kong, Vietnam and other countries.

Our procurement and logistics system is based on the product offering concept of “Nanatate.” In order to provide products that delight our customers, we have developed a product offering concept called “Nanatate.” In keeping with the basic spirit of “Cold food should be served cold and hot food should be served hot,” we considered how to reduce the distance between production areas and customers, and our procurement and logistics system has made this possible. While maintaining the traditions of Japanese food culture, our company adds innovative ideas and pursues genuine deliciousness to provide customers with genuine excitement and satisfaction.

In 1996, we acquired auction rights at the Tsukiji Market, and since then, we have been making every effort to purchase fresh and low-cost products. The stores were opened based on a business strategy of “opening stores mainly in the 23 wards of Tokyo where we can deliver within one hour from the market,” and we succeeded in establishing the brand power of Nippan, which provides fresh ingredients at low cost. At present, we are accelerating our efforts to open stores in the Kansai area and overseas, but we remain steadfast in our policy of “serving freshness.”

Produce Deliciousness to Each Store Through Our Unique Logistics System

We operate Nippan Suisan Co., Ltd., a group company specializing in procurement and processing. Fresh ingredients purchased directly through market participation rights are processed in bulk in the central kitchen. We deliver them directly to each store twice a day, in the morning and afternoon, through our own logistics system. This system is designed to ensure that the ingredients of the day are efficiently delivered to each store, containing the deliciousness of the moment they are caught and the freshness.
